Gisele Bundchen has her own line of sandals with footwear company Grendene called Ipanema Gisele Bündchen. Forbes puts her 53rd on their list of the most powerful celebrities of 2007 because of the international success of her shoe line, making the brand Ipanema the most sold Brazilian flip-flop in the world, surpassing the legendary Havaianas. Custom Ipanema flip-flops sell for as much as $230 a pair. Gisele Bundchen is also the owner of a hotel in the south of Brazil, the Palladium Executive.

Taylor Lautner

In October 2008, Taylor Lautner played Christian Slater's son in the television series My Own Worst Enemy, until the show was canceled after only 9 episodes. Taylor Lautner then played Native American character Jacob Black in Twilight, the movie adaptation of the novel by Stephenie Meyer. Due to major physical changes that occur in the character of Jacob Black throughout the series, the director of Twilight's sequel, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, considered replacing Taylor Lautner with a different actor in the second film. In an attempt to keep the role, Taylor Lautner weight-trained extensively and gained approximately 30 pounds. Taylor Lautner reprised his role as Jacob in New Moon. In 2010, Taylor Lautner starred in the romantic comedy film Valentine's Day as Tyler Harrinton.

Aside from modeling, In 1998, Tyra Banks authored a book entitled Tyra's Beauty, Inside and Out. The book was advertised as a resource for helping women to make the most out of their natural beauty.
Tyra Banks retired from modeling in May 2005 to concentrate on her television career. Tyra Banks walked the runway for the final time at the 2005 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
